Kimberley "Kim" Sue Ferris

Kimberley S. “Kim” Ferris, age 49, of Pomona, Kansas died Friday, December 14, 2012. She was born on Friday, June 7, 1963 in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Ronnie and Cecelia (Workman) Kirkland. Kim was a lifelong Franklin County resident living in Pomona for the last 23 years. She attended Ottawa High School receiving her GED. On July 14, 1984 Kim was united in marriage to Phil Ferris in Overbrook, Kansas. He survives of the home. Kim worked for Willis Nursery in Ottawa and ITW Labels in Gardner, Kansas for the past 22 years. She is survived by her: Husband – Phil Ferris of Pomona, Kansas Son – Dustin Ferris of Pomona Son – Joshua Ferris of Pomona Mother – Cecelia Kirkland of Jefferson, Wisconsin Sister – Rhonda Troxel and husband John of Valley Falls, Kansas Sister – Melissa Schwane of Jefferson, Wisconsin Many nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her: Father – Ronnie Kirkland Nephew - Payton Schwane SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held at the Dengel & Son Mortuary, 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Ferris at Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2012, to the service hour where the family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday.
