Joan Mary Sisk, age 74, of Pomona, Kansas, died Sunday, December 12, 2010. She was born on Wednesday, September 30, 1936, in Peterbourgh, England, the daughter of William and Julia Clitheroe. She grew up in Peterbourgh, and, at the age of seventeen, moved to Idaho Springs, Colorado. She also lived in Pueblo, Colorado, moving to Bonner Springs, Kansas in 1992 and Pomona in 2005. Joan graduated from High School in Peterbourgh. She was a homemaker. Joan was a member of Walnut Grove Bible Church in Bonner Springs, Kansas, and attended Ottawa Bible Church after moving to Pomona. On May 10, 1973, Joan was united in marriage with Winland J. Sisk in Taos, New Mexico. He survives of their home. SERVICES: Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Walnut Grove Bible Church in Bonner Springs, Kansas, where family will meet with friends at 9:30 a.m. for visitation prior to services.
