Jerry Winterscheid

Jerry Winterscheid, age 76, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 9th, in Corpus Christi, Texas while visiting friends. Jerry was born in Kansas City, KS on December 7, 1936 to Norman and Velma Koelsch Winterscheid. He was a lifelong resident of Paola, KS. Jerry and his brother Doug owned and operated Winterscheid Auto Parts, an established business started by their father in 1948. Jerry married his wife Frances Spencer on July 10th, 1982. They enjoyed traveling and being with friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially working in their yard. He also enjoyed music of any kind and was very fond of animals. Jerry is survived by his wife Frances, brother Doug, his wife Patty, sister Rita Wilson, her husband Bill, and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Greater Kansas City Humane Society or the Holy Trinity School.
