Jason Christopher Boggs

Jason Christopher Boggs, age 46, formerly of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, June 12, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa, Kansas 66067.

Jason was born on Saturday, December 11, 1976, in Lawrence, Kansas. He was the son of Christopher and Diane (Hultz) Boggs.

He attended Ottawa High School as well as the University of Kansas. Jason received a BFA of Visual Communication and became a graphic designer.

Jason is preceded in death by his long-time partner, Ken Hamm; mother, Diane Boggs; maternal grandmother, Mary Hultz; paternal grandparents, Carl and Darlene Boggs; and aunt, Debra Bova.

Survivors include his father, Christopher Boggs; brother, Nathan Boggs; niece, Zoe Boggs; stepbrother, Matthew Boggs; grandfather, Ray Hultz; aunts, Connie Roberts (Mark), Delores Jones (David), Dorothy Miltner (Myron), Donna Doughty (Tim); uncle, Daniel Hultz (Elaine); friend, Calvin Royal as well as many cousins, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made payable to Wayside Waifs, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 South Hickory Street, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
