Janet Ann Lenz

Janet Ann Lenz, age 83, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Rosary will be prayed at 9:45 A.M., Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 22779 Metcalf Rd, Bucyrus, Kansas 66013. Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Immediately following the inurnment, a luncheon will be held at the church hall.

Janet was born on Thursday, April 4, 1940, in Lidgerwood, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Alfred and Evelyn (Kanera) Duwenhoegger. She attended school in Mantador, North Dakota and the Notre Dame Sisters were her teachers.

Janet met Kenneth “Kenny” Lenz and they were later married on Tuesday, April 8, 1958, in Mantador, North Dakota. Together they had five children; Debra, David, Diane, Dean and Donna.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Evelyn, and one brother, Dennis Mauch.

Janet is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenny Lenz, five children; Debra (Wayne) Wuenschel, David (Peggy) Lenz, Diane (Jeff) Kinkade, Dean (Tiffany) Lenz and Donna (Salvatore) Nuccio, two brothers; Eugene Mauch and Brian (Veronica) Mauch, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family members.
