James "Jimmy" H. Caple

James “Jimmy” H. Caple, 79, of Richmond, Kansas, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, Kansas.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.

Jimmy was born Thursday, April 15, 1943, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Doris (Doty) Caple.

He lived in Quenemo, Kansas since the late 1960s moving there from rural Williamsburg,

Jimmy was united in marriage to Joan D. Hull on August 18, 1978, in Lyndon, Kansas. She survives of the home.

He was self-employed performing services such as bailing hay, mowing services, firewood supply and scrap metal collecting.

Jimmy enjoyed outdoor work of any kind, visiting with all he met and helping anyone in need. He also enjoyed tractor pulls, watching movies and spending time with family.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, George Caple.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Bryan Caple (Dena) of Paola, Kansas; granddaughter Kristen Caple of Ottawa; great-children Alanah, Amiyah and Lilyana.
