Gary Lee Wiseman

Gary Lee Wiseman, 79, of Wellsville, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at Wellsville Health & Rehabilitation. Family will meet with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2022, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m., same day at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on 68 Hwy in Miami County. Gary was born January 31, 1943, in Wellsville, the son of Max and Dorothy (Birckhead) Wiseman. He was a lifelong Wellsville area resident, attending Rock Creek School in Wellsville. Gary was a farmer and was employed at Royal Tractor in Gardner, Kansas for several years, retiring in 2008. He loved farming, playing Checkers with his nieces, watching farming and tractor shows on TV, loved to go to all the fairs to look at the tractors and the Power of the Past Tractor Show in Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Dorothy Wiseman and brother Jim Wiseman. Survivors include two siblings, Frank (Darby) Wiseman of Wellsville, and Fred (Mary) Wiseman of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
