Frances D. Rodriquez

Frances D. Rodriquez 76 of Osawatomie, Kansas passed away on April 9th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at her side.

Frances was born on December 4th, 1948, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Manuel Rodriquez and Betty Gean Cox Rodriquez. Frances was united in marriage on October 24th, 1963, in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles Garfield Mills Sr. Frances who also went by Chita, was one who always loved to make everyone laugh and always had a bright smile on her face. Her love for her family and grandchildren cannot be measured. Things she enjoyed most was doing bible study with her brother Benito Rodriquez Sr. She loved doing crafts, painting and gardening, going to thrift stores and garage sales. She enjoyed playing with her great grandkids who meant the world to her. She loved her dog Smokey as if he was one of her own children.

She is dancing in the sky in heaven without pain or suffering with her family. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

Frances is survived by three children, Anita Bentzinger of Warrensburg, Missouri, Windy Craig (Steve) of Parker, Kansas. Charles Mills Jr. (Cynthia) of Osawatomie, Kansas. Grandchildren, Chanda Enright (Brian) of Pleasant, Kansas, Tiffany Armstrong of Ohio, James Armstrong (McKenzie) of Ottawa, Kansas Johnathon, Justin Bentzinger of Warrensburg, Missouri, Antonio Hurst of Warrensburg, Missouri, Daniel Mills of Osawatomie, Kansas, Keelie Mills, Ashley, David, Francisca of Maryland, Jessica Mahoney of Parker, Kansas, McKenzie Mills of Osawatomie, Kansas. Frances had 18 great grandchildren she loved dearly and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son John Michael Mills, two grandsons Shannon Duane Mills and Jeremy Hurst, as well as three brothers Manuel, Richard, Benito Rodriquez Sr., two sisters, Delores Rodriquez and Theresa Swisher.
