Ella Mae Zuel

Ella Mae Zuel, 97, of Osawatomie, KS passed away on August 6, 2024.

She was born on October 16, 1926 to James and Addie (Newman) Sharp in Arpellar, OK.

On June 29, 1944, Ella Mae was united in marriage to Claud Earl Zuel. Together they would have two daughters, Janet and Debbie.

Ella Mae was a Charter Member of Paola Assembly of God, now known as Cross Point, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She was a Vacation Bible School teacher as well. Ella Mae was also the former President of WM's (Women's Ministries). Ella Mae enjoyed being active in her kids school days by being the PTA Homeroom mom.

Some of the hobbies Ella Mae enjoyed were sewing, baking, and gardening.

Ella Mae is survived by her two daughters, Janet Hoover (Zuel), of Paola, KS and Debbie and Ralph Davis, of Odessa, MO. Grandchildren, Amanda Spiess, Jennifer and Allen Welker, Kathryn Davis, and Jonathan Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Claud, siblings, Ralph Sharp, Clyde Sharp, Lawrence Sharp, Robert Sharp, and Rosa Lee Gatlin, as well as grandson-in-law, Martin Spiess.
