Delton Kettler

Delton E. Kettler age 79 of Ottawa passed away Wed. Spt.2. Services are Sunday Sept.6 2:00PM at the Block Trinity Lutheran Church, visitation Sat. from 6 to 8:00PM at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, burial Block Cemetery, memorials to the American Diabetes Asc. Delton was born on May 6, 1930 in R.R. Paola to Herman and Emma Block Kettler. He grew up in the Block community and attended the Block school. On July 17, 1951 Delton was united in marriage to Dorothy Minden in Denver Colorado. To this union were born two sons. This marriage later ended in divorce. Delton farmed the family farmed and worked in real estate in the Kansas City and surrounding areas. He moved to Ottawa in 1970 from the Block area and continued farming. His pastime love was his horses and going dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Lorene Medlin and dau-in Law Marsha Kettler.
