Darla Jo Zook

Darla Jo Zook, 58, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at her home.

Family will meet with friends from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.

Darla was born Thursday, September 24, 1964, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Roger Higbie and Emma (Sheler) Price.

She was a lifelong Ottawa resident.

Darla graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1982.

On December 14, 1985, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Zook in Ottawa, Kansas. He survives of the home.

Darla enjoyed camping and the outdoors, gambling, and playing with her grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Kenny Zook; mother, Emma Price (Ronnie) of Ottawa, Kansas; father, Roger Higbie (Diana) of Williamsburg, Kansas; children, Echo Howard (Brandan Yohe), Rusti Kiefer (Ricky) both of Ottawa, Kansas, Krysta Zook (Josh Underwood) of Pomona, Kansas; siblings, Kim Rogers (John) of Quenemo, Kansas, Kelly Price of Ottawa, Kansas, Guy Price (Kim) of Wellsville, Kansas, Dustin Higbie of Williamsburg, Kansas, Heather Williams (Matthew) of Ottawa, Kansas, and grandchildren, Riley, Keira, Braedan, Cahlysta, Daytan, Krystina, Kandyn, Alec, Rollyn, Sky, Kale, and Tyler.
