Cyndi Steward, 44, Ottawa, died March 29, 2015, as a result of a kayaking accident. She was born to Bob Gould and the late Zella Wright Gould, on October 30, 1970, in Warner Robins, Georgia. She married John Dunkin, and they later divorced. She married Keith Steward April 2, 2000. Cyndi was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother (“Momo”). She was an avid coffee drinker. She loved fishing, animals and DIY projects. Those who knew her said that she was the biggest hearted person they’d ever met. Cyndi was preceded in death by her mother, Zella Gould; grandparents, Paul and Thelma Gould and Noble and Ada Wright; and mother-in-law, Carroll Neff. Cyndi is survived by her husband, Keith Steward, of the home; children, Tara Dunkin, Skylor Dunkin and Deborah Dunkin, all of Ottawa; Michelle Steward, Kansas City, Missouri; and Robert Steward, Texas; grandchildren Andrea, Ariah, Serenity and Carter; father, Bob, and stepmother, Jo Gould, of Winston, Missouri; father-in-law Galen Steward, Auburn; brothers, Rusty Gould, Cameron, Missouri; Noble Gould and wife, Ellen, Wellsville; sister, Debbie Cabral and husband, Dan, Gainsville, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service is set at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the home of Noble and Ellen Gould, 4609 K68 Hwy, Wellsville. Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate the life of our loved one, Cyndi.
