September 14, 1923 — July 29, 2015

Corina B. Alexander, 91, of Richmond, Kansas, formerly of Rantoul, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Family will meet with friends immediately following services. Private inurnment Stanton Cemetery, Miami County, Kansas. Corina was born Friday, September 14, 1923, in Rantoul, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence Edward and Lulu Belle (McKoon) Caylor. She was a near lifelong resident of Rantoul before moving in 1975 to Lane. In 2010, she moved to Richmond Healthcare. She graduated from Rantoul High School with the class of 1941. Corina grew up helping on the family farm and also worked at Willis Nursery before marrying. After her marriage she was a devoted wife and mother, working on the farm, taking care of the animals, gardening, and enjoying her flower garden. Corina was united in marriage with Homer Glen McCullough in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1957. She married George Newton Alexander in 1962. He preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gene McCullough; sisters, Mildred Marie Caylor and Lucille Paulene Carter; brothers, Clarence Howard and Joseph Edward Caylor. Survivors include her son, Glen McCullough. The family suggests memorial contributions to Richmond Healthcare Activity Fund c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
