Clyde Beatty

Clyde E. Beatty, age 65, of Paola, Kansas passed away July 28, 2012 at the Specialty Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. Clyde was born November 2, 1946 in Paola, Kansas to Stanley and Georgia Francis Weaver Beatty. He grew up in Paola and graduated in 1965. He worked for the Fluor Corporation and the Marley Corporation for many years and then worked the past 10 years for the Select Grounds of Pleasant Hill, Missouri as a mechanic. Clyde"s hobbies were working on small engines of all kinds, remote model cars. He could fix any broken kind of engine and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle especially to Sturgis. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Esther Smith. Survivors are his son Stan Beatty, brother Albert Beatty and many friends.
