Claire Phyllis Cheek

Claire Phyllis Cheek, 76, of Paola, Kansas, passed away on September 21, 2023. She was born on June 23, 1947, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to the late Leo and Lucille Roy. Claire was preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Macomber.

Claire is survived by her loving husband, Terry Cheek, her children Sharon O'Neal, Benjamin Cheek, and their spouses Timothy O'Neal and Susan Cheek. She will also be deeply missed by her sisters Theresa Para, Jeanne Hurtado, Louise Roy, Monique Roy, Judith Dunnan, and Jacqueline Hurley. Claire leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, as well as nine cherished grandchildren: Lindsay O'Neal, Lauren O'Neal, Luke O'Neal, Ethan Cheek, Noah Cheek, Joseph Cheek, Caleb Cheek, Eleanor Cheek and Judah Cheek.

A memorial service to celebrate Claire's life will be held at 2 o'clock pm on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at OP Church located at 13400 W 119th St., Overland Park, KS 66213.
