Brenda Jo Weber, 51, of Williamsburg, passed away after her battle with cancer, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Family will meet with friends from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2017, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. The family requests that everyone wear something pink. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Brenda was born Monday, October 25, 1965 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Marion and Karen (White) Zook. She was a lifelong Franklin County resident. She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1984. She went on to attend Ottawa University. Brenda was united in marriage to John Weber on April 19, 1986, in Ottawa, Kansas. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her daughter, Brandi Weber of Williamsburg; grandson, Kale Weber; mother, Karen Zook of Topeka; sister, Krysti McClure and husband Glen of Topeka; brothers, Kenny Zook and wife Darla of Ottawa, and John Zook of Baldwin City; and several nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Marion Zook; and grandparents. She was employed at various establishments in Ottawa, including Taco Tico, Wendy’s and Walmart. Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends, especially with her grandson. She enjoyed going to car shows with her pink 1970 Mustang, and camping. She liked watching the Kansas City Chiefs and KU Basketball.
