Billy Dale Richardson

Billy Dale Richardson, 74, of Pomona, Kansas, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.

Billy was born July 26, 1948, in Pomona, the son of Rowena Richardson.

He lived in Ottawa, Kansas for 30 years, before moving to Pomona in the early 1990’s.

On January 20, 1972, Billy was united in marriage to Connie Sue Matteson in Pomona.

He was employed as a foreman with several manufacturing companies over many years.

Billy loved the time he spent with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherell and Rowena Ralston, and sister Rhonda Fritts.

Survivors include his wife Connie Richardson of the home, sons, Billy Richardson, Jr. (Nancy Mitchell) of Pomona, and Andy Guinn, Sr. (Shannon) of Elizabethtown, Tennessee; four siblings, Linda Ainsworth of Pomona, Brenda Tegtmeyer of Ottawa, David Ralston (Rena) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Melissa Bonzo (Gary) of Ottawa; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
