Betty G. Graybill, 85, of Princeton, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Villa St. Francis, Olathe, Kansas. Family will meet with friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m., at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, Kansas. She was born Monday, January 27, 1930, in Rome, Georgia, the daughter of Frank and Eula (Gay) Spence. Betty lived in Princeton, moving there in 1980 from Prairie Village where she lived since 1967. Betty was united in marriage with Charles Graybill in 1948 at Atlanta, Georgia. He preceded her in death April 30, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her infant twin brother, Billy Spence, her parents, son, Charles Graybill Jr.; daughter, Charlene Graybill; brother, Frank Spence; two sisters, Grace Wagner and Beverly Guiterrez; and grandson, Mason Jones III. Survivors include her two daughters, Darlene Jones of Princeton, and Donna “Brandy” Graybill and husband, Steven Iwersen of Lenexa; three grandchildren, Charles Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, Donna Me. Jones of Princeton, and Keely Long and husband Morgan of Columbia, Missouri; granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Jones; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Betty was a lifelong homemaker. She helped her husband drive tractor/trailers and traveled with him for many years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, and former member and captain of the Salvation Army Communications, a disaster relief group, for many years. Betty will be remembered for her love of family and grandchildren. She liked to crochet, make dolls and potholders. Her loss is felt by all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
