Arlene Sidelinker

Arlene Sidelinker, age 78, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on Friday, September 9, 1932, in Wellsville, Kansas, the daughter of David Sturm and Mary L. Kanenberg. She has been an Ottawa resident for the past 42 years. Arlene graduated from Wellsville High School. She was a cashier at Wal-Mart in Ottawa for many years. On January 25, 1980, Arlene was united in marriage with Richard O. Sidelinker in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of their home. She is also survived by a Son, Michael Allis of Pomona, Kansas; a Daughter,Charlotte Newkirk of Ottawa, Kansas; Step-daughter, Angela St. Pierre of Springfield, Massachusetts; Step-daughter,Marie Sidelinker of Springfield, Massachusetts; Step-Daughter, Connie Avery of Springfield, Massachusetts; Step-Son, Raymond Sidelinker of Independence, Missouri; Eleven Grandchildren; and Ten Great-Grandchildren. SERVICES: Memorial graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa. IN STATE: Cremation services are planned.
