Alisha Jo Altic was born July 17th, 1984, and passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 39, in Ottawa, Kansas.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, February 2, 2024, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Family will greet friends at 12:00pm prior to services.
Alisha graduated from Ottawa High School with the Class of 2002 and Neosho County Community College with her Associate Degree in Science going on to pass boards on the very first try. After her service in the United States Air Force, Alisha became a Registered Nurse who worked in the Johnson County Detention Facility in New Century, Kansas followed by a family practice doctor’s office in Overland Park, Kansas and Lawrence, Kansas. She then helped manage the family businesses JLA Farms and TA Homes.
Alisha loved playing ball with her best friend, Milo. She loved all animals from goats to cows to dogs, but most of all, Alisha loved her family. She devoted herself to her husband, Justin and her children Aiden, Chloe and two bonus daughters Kyla and Ashlynn. She cherished every minute she got to spend with her kids. Taking care of her family was truly her pride and joy.
In her spare time, Alisha spent lots of time at the lake… laying out, boating, jet skiing and spending quality time with her friends and family. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake with her girls. She was baptized at Holbrook United Methodist Church in Livingston, Montana and confirmed at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa, Kansas. Her smile lit up the room and her laughter filled our hearts with joy.
Alisha was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Charles and Carol Murray; maternal grandparents Lloyd and Francess Chatt; and grandfather in law Corkey Price.
She is survived by her husband Justin Altic; daughter Chloe Gray; son, Aiden Dancosse, and two bonus daughters Kyla Keisler and Ashlynn Altic; mother Patricia (Bill) Triplett; father Bill (Kendra) Murray; brother William Murray, Jr.; sister Heather (Parrish) Starbuck; and stepbrothers Scott (Jon) Triplett and Mark (Megan) Triplett. in-laws Randy & Jayne Altic and Trent & Donna Burkdoll; along with many cousins, aunts and uncles who loved her dearly.
The family suggests memorial contributions to HeadQuarters Kansas (the local contact center for 988 suicide and crises lifeline) c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
