Our family is devastated and immensely saddened to announce the unexpected death of our daughter, Victoria “Tori” Anne Sanders at the age of 31, and granddaughter, Addalyn “Addie” Anne Sanders at the age of 5. They both passed away as a result of a house fire on May 16, 2024, in Louisburg, KS.
Memorial service for Tori and Addie will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the Louisburg United Methodist Church, 249 N Metcalf Road, Louisburg, Kansas 66053. Visitation will follow from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Tori was born to Steve and Carol (Rhines) Sanders, on April 13, 1993. Addie was born to Tori and graced our family on September 12, 2018.
Tori was a lifelong resident of Louisburg. She attended Louisburg High School and was a member of the class of 2011. While in high school, she was very active in the Louisburg High School Marching Band, a member of the cheer squad, DECA, choir, and even helped manage Cats Alley. After high school she worked various jobs as a server, but she loved photography.
Tori was the proud mother of two children, Preston and Addalyn. She was an assistant coach for the past four seasons for her sons’ soccer team. Tori loved spending time with her children, they could often be found outdoors fishing and playing together as a family. Her passions in life were her children.
Addie was an angel from heaven. She was so vivacious, always smiling (just like her momma) and had more fascial expressions than you could ever imagine. Addie loved her big brother, Preston, and always followed him around, whether he liked it or not.
Addie had a personality that everyone fell in love with the minute they met her. She was the most curious, loving soul and an absolute joy to be around. Addie was very independent and destined to be the leader of whatever she chose to do. She made new friends everywhere she went and never knew a stranger. She looked forward to outings with her PaPaw, her cousin Aubrey, and her big brother. Addie was excited to begin school this fall.
Our family could not have possibly expected for their lives to be cut short so soon. We will feel this loss & absence forever. We will never forget them & will always love them & hope to be reunited with them one day. With all of our love, Steve, Carol, Caitlyn, Preston and Aubrey.
A fund has been set up for Tori’s son, Preston, for future expenses. Donations can be made to Preston Sanders and can be left at First National Bank in Louisburg, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, P.O. Box 669, Louisburg, Kansas 66053.
